Laure-Anne Courdesse is an international human rights expert specializing in sustainable development, business and human rights. Laure-Anne has consulted with CAO, the OECD, and various organizations on business and human rights, with a particular focus on energy, extractives and agri-business. Prior to this, she spent over a decade with the United Nations Human Rights Office (OHCHR), where she focused on business and human rights and led policy and protection work on land, resettlement, and housing, also as head of OHCHR’s Cambodia land program. Earlier in her career, Laure-Anne worked as human rights adviser to the Swiss Development Agency. A Swiss national, Laure-Anne received an MPhil (Distinction) in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin and an M.A. in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
