Silvia De Rosa

Specialist | Dispute Resolution

An Italian national, Silvia De Rosa is a lawyer, mediator, and researcher specialized in human rights law. Prior to joining CAO, she served as advisor to the U.N. Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, and as scholar in residence at New York University Center for Human Rights and Global Justice. Previously, Silvia worked for several years on migrant and refugee rights issues for Amnesty International Italy and as a civil and commercial law attorney in Italy, while also volunteering for several social and environmental projects in Europe, India and Central America. Silvia graduated in international law from the Catholic University of Milan (Italy), with study sessions at American University Washington College of Law and the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia). She holds an LL.M. in European and International Human Rights Law from Leiden University (Netherlands).
