Alma Jadallah
Senior Specialist | Dispute Resolution
Dr. Jadallah is a conflict prevention and mitigation expert. She has served as an independent and impartial third-party mediator, facilitator, advisor and designer of dispute resolution processes. Prior to joining the Office of the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman, she led Kommon Denominator Inc., an award winning woman-owned consulting firm. Her global work experience includes field experience in crisis and post-conflict settings designing interventions on issues pertaining to identity-based conflicts, Women Peace and Security (WPS), social cohesion, and the nexus between development and security. She served as the Regional Expert and Coordinator, Panel of Experts on Yemen (2014 -2015), Department of Political Affairs, United Nations and more recently advised ASEAN on preventive diplomacy and WPS. She holds a doctorate in conflict analysis and resolution from George Mason University and is the recipient of the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Carter School. Dr. Jadallah is a dual national of the United State of America and Jordan.
