Agustina Palencia

Agustina is from Argentina and has over eight years of relevant work experience in international development, conducting research and managing projects mainly in the human rights field. She has experience on a broad range of topics including gender, transparency, open government, accountability, civic participation, anti-corruption, environmental and social safeguards, and grievance mechanisms. Prior to joining CAO, Agustina worked for different civil society organizations as a policy advocate and project manager in different initiatives related to human rights, development finance institutions, social and environmental due diligence, social accountability, transparency, access to information, among others.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Agustina received her Master of Arts in International Development Studies from the George Washington University. She got her BA in International Affairs back in Argentina.
