Sontia works within the CAO’s Compliance function, in the role of a research analyst. Prior to joining CAO, Sontia served as a law lecturer and research fellow at Paris Panthéon Assas University and as a visiting scholar at American University Washington College of Law. Her academic research focused on international accountability mechanisms and human rights. A dual national of France and Germany, Sontia holds a master’s degree in Human Rights from Paris Panthéon-Assas University and an LL.M. from UC Hastings (UC Law, San Francisco).
