Stephanie Keene

Stephanie is an international human rights lawyer with over ten years of international human rights and development experience. Her work addresses sustainable development challenges at the intersection of environmental and climate justice, community-based land and natural resource tenure, gender equality, and corporate compliance and accountability. Prior to joining CAO, she supported Indigenous and local communities’ rights regarding land, forest, and freshwater, as a Senior Law and Policy Advisor at the Rights and Resources Initiative. She previously worked for the United Nation’s World Food Program in Senegal and has addressed numerous corporate compliance matters as a former Associate at Covington & Burling LLP. She is a Yale Law School and Princeton University graduate.
